The majority of deer killed this year by shotgun will once again, be taken with a "good ole 3 dollar box of" foster slugs.
You think so uncle. All of my friends have changed over to sabot'd slugs from 3 dollar box stuff in the last 5 years or so.. I should use rifled slugs, but hate getting all that lead out. Behind my house, I shoot 4 or so deer a year and all are litterly 20 yards. Its only a 5 acre piece of land but is a finger to private farms. So all the deer herd up in there. Its a real honey hole. But the downside is, I got to get them down,if they run to the other farm, I have probably lost them, to the mass's of hunters there. So thats the reason I use a slug gun back there and a semi at that.
