In the never ending quest to improve my form, I'm posting yet another thread asking for critiques.
I am shooting well. I shoot comfortably. I get
decent groups out to 60 yards. I hunt. I
don't shoot 3D
nor do I shoot spots.
However, I would like to have
good form at some point in my archery career.
To me, it seems as if I'm still leaning back a bit. Not so much in the first picture, but I think there is a slight backwards lean in the second picture. I could lower my draw length, but I would have to go down another
inch. I don't think that I need a whole inch taken off. Do you think that taking it in and having a few more twists put in the string would help any?
I realize that it looks as if my hand isn't relaxed because my fingers seem to have some sort of tension in them.
Wrong. I don't know about you, but my fingers don't stick straight out when they're relaxed. They fall
naturally.
I
don't shoot with a high wrist grip. This makes me hit my arm and is plain
uncomfortable. I shoot with a
low wrist grip. There is a bone in your hand about where your life line ends that allows for a consistent grip. To me this is most comfortable.
So, what is your take on my form? Anything is going to be appreciated.
And oh by the way, how do you like the white crests with white blazers? So far I'm digging them. I've been pretty impressed by those little vanes. I haven't had a chance to shoot them with my broadheads, but they sure do fly well with my field points.
