Try putting out a feeder bucket. Once the coon are hitting it take him out alone. Dont make a drop right on top of the bucket, hunt to it. He has to track before he can tree, if you know your hunting him on fresh track and he's not intrested don't wast any more time with him. You've already shown him a caged coon so he really dosen need another one just get him in the woods.
