well me and dad took our muzzleloaders out today to test them for the fall at a bubbies house,,i would like to say now i absolutly LOVE my muzzleloader,even though it is only second time shooting it,,my question is this,,When me and my dad cleaned are guns he just use bore butter on the breech plug,,as did i,,is it okay to do this or should we have use anit siege to keep the plugs from sieging during shooting,,, have a nother question as well,, when i started to take the breech plug out of the gun to clean it,,it was stuck pretty good,,we did end up breaking it loose,,is this something i should worry about or is it the type of gun and breech plug im useing,,CVA Elcipse magnum .50cal #209 primer tripple7 power,100grn. 240grn sabot
