Default RE: Ithica Model 37 Deluxe

I really liked the old 37's except for one thing. If you reloaded your own ammo, you had to "full re-size" the hulls or they would stick in the magazine tube. That ment a whole extra trip through a "spl. sizer" you had to buy extra. Also when i was a kid there were a lot of paper shells around, and many times they would swell a bit and have the same problem with sticking in the magazine tube.

I think on later 37's they machined a bit more room to fix this, but it's what got me to buy a Rem. 870 instead of a new Ithica back then.

As quite a young kid, ishot my first rooster pheasantwith the model 37 featherweight that my dadowned at that time.
