During the October archery season. The deer come out into a field to feed. I set up on one of the trails leading to the field but they always seem to use different trails. So - I stalk them while they're in the field. I stay back in the woods until I get to the part of the field where they're feeding. Then I approch up to the edge and wait, if I can for one to feed within range. If that doesn't work, there are some bushes in the field which may allow a closer stalk.
