It's been raining & lightening in Durango for two weeks, so the animals are not herding up yet. The first week of archery, they'll begin herding again which can be used to your advantage. An experienced hunter can spot-n-stalk, hunting in a blind on water holes will be good, also. Typically in our area Sept 17th, the rut starts full swing.
