I would choose the AccuBond since you will be hunting deer with this round too. The Fail Safe is great but it will hardly open on a broadside shot at a whitetail. Also the 30-06 in factory form on propels 180 gr. bullets at 2600-2700 fps and I've even seen velocity lower than this out of some rifles. You need a fair amount of velocity for the Fail Safe to expand unless you practice shoulder shots. The Fail Safe will only shed maybe 2% of its weight while the AB is designed to shed about 30%. In most rifles I would think the AB would probably be the most accurate.
