Good luck on your buck too. I'm not really counting on any plans right now. The deer around here have just seemed to vanish in the past few weeks...their feeding habits must have changed or something?Maybe it's the heat too...I don't know? That big7-pt. thatI mentionedhas disappeared....I haven't so much as caught a peek at him in 3 weeks. Prior to that I saw him consistantly since the beginning of June. My uncle saw him on his way in to work the other morning so I know that he's still around.I can't figure it out...none of the other bucks have been coming out to feed in the alfalfa either, although I did see adecent2-yr. old6-pt. that I've never seen before out there this morning. The fields right by the road so maybe it's a good thing that the bucks aren't out there advertising themselves...I sure wouldn't want any unwelcomed guests showing up come October.
