Actually - its a very dried up Beaver Pond at the headwaters of as small spring creek on the property. The muddied section in the picture showed considerable deer sign - as the deer went to drink - so I placed the camera there. So far only one other buck at the sight ( a very little spike) - The 8 point shows up several times over the 2 days - once chasing a deer and coming right back for another picture - I think the Beaver Dam is Home Base for him.
