I used to wear rubber boots, but hated them. I stopped wearing them a few years ago and have not noticed any difference at all for the number of deer scene or deer winding me. One thing that I have noticed is that I am al lot more comfortable and my Danner's provide an aweful lot more support and warmth then any rubber boot out there.

One thing that I have always heard is that a person should avoid perspiring and should use fabrics which wick perspiration away from the body, especially in cold weather. I have evenheard this form people who swear by rubber boots. Now when I used to take my rubber boots off, I could always expect some very wet feet. Things that make you go Hmmmm.......
