Never shoot a yearling? Come on! I know plenty of guys that would love a chance at a deer like this. You can't superimpose your standards on others. If he's legal and that buck is considered what that person wants, go for it everytime. I would pass, but not for any other reason than my own selfimposed standard. I would never fault anyone that decided to take it.
