RE: Question about fletching my own arrows?
I haven't had much luck with glueing to carbon arrows with Fletch-Tite. I haven't used the platimum yet, though. Maybe it works better.
bama, the only problem you may have is the glue may react with the paint and "melt" it off, but it will stick very well regardless. Also, it will only melt off the paint where the fletch is, so you won't see it anyway. I'll tell ya what I did. I used a tube of regular old superglue. It works fantastic.
edit: No,you don't need to wipe down the vanes or the arrow. I would wait at least an hour before fletching, depending on the paint you used, maybe longer.
