I don't wipe my vanes down at all. I glue them right out of the package, I haven't had any problems.

Though I'm just the opposite of Zak. While Goat Tuff worked well, I prefer the adhesion I get with Fletch Tite Platinum.

I use the Arizona E-Z Fletch. I usually let my arrows sit about 25 - 30 seconds before taking them out of the jig. I then let them sit at least 24 hours before shooting them.
