I have two words to say about those who can't kill a deer with a 30-06. But I won't use them here.
All I can say is that if the deer up in their neck of the woods have become immune to well placed shots from a 30-06 then those bad boys must be wearing kevlar these days. Thank God the deerI hunt are no so well protected. I have been on a lot of blood trails where the shooter claimed a good hit only to discover when we finally found the deer a half a mile away and often the next morning that the hit was not nearly as good as they thought it was. If this has usually been the case with deer that are difficult to recover I strongly suspect it is most likely the case when they are not recovered as well.
