If a #11 cap will ignite a powder charge (loose) in sub freezing weather, I think Sabotloader is right on the money with the idea that a 209 primer no matter how toned down it is from the hotter ones will ignite most powders. Perhaps Randy's concern was the amount of fire in regards to smokeless powder. I have no experience with smokeless powder in a muzzleloader. Perhaps in that case you want as much fire as possible, which if you think about it would actually make sense.
I sure hope our local Wally World will get them in, I want to try some of them. Otherwise I will look for the lower powered Winchester that are supposed to be hitting the market any time now....
