are you wanting to planta crop?........ if so you have to determine do you have access to equipment to plow it etc?,,,,,or jsut minimal hand tools etc?.......

this year I planted Secret Spot from whitetail institute...... its a pretty much throw n go as long as it is on bare ground it will pretty much sprout in a week if it gets a little water....I planted it all in the woods by just raking back the leaves etc

if i had access to plows etc i would plant some oats, clover,soy beans,chicory and wheat mixed
