I've used the Barnes Red Hot 180gr in a .45 Knight. Also used the Hornaday 180gr HP/XTP. That was a great shooter! Took 3-4 deer with that bullet.I switched to a 250gr precision only because I needed a hydraulic press to get the 180gr down the barrel.

Can't say if either is available in a .50 ?
