I take it that controlled burns aren't done in Texas due to the dryness?
Actually controlled burns are very popular in this part of the country, in fact we burned about 700 acres just this past week. But mesquite and most other brush in south Texas will not be killed with a controlled burn. The trees will green up within no time, or when we get the first big rain. But when we use chemicals like Remedy, the trees are dead forever and we no longer have to worry about them.
