A friend of mine had one on a Ruger M14 and he absolutely loved it. Now I know that a M14 is not a pistol, but the essentials are still the same. I know that occasionally, if you didn't line your eye into the glass just right, you would get a horrid glare (kinda like an oncoing car at night in the rain!). And the only other thing that I can think of against it versus a traditional scope is that you have to turn the Red Dots OFF! He has ran down a few batteries on that account alone. But other than that, they are great.
