I started with a 37" bow and quickly decided I wanted a short one mostly for hunting out of a blind and a treestand. I ended up buying a used 33" Patriot and now realize that to go shorter is really not necessary. There is a reason why the Switchback and the alliegiance are both the flaghips and both @33 inches. I love my Patriot, its fast, smooth, has a great valley and back wall.
