I shoot rocket broadheads and as long as you have enough kinetic energy you can take any size game with them 65# of k/e will be more than adequate go to www.bowjackson.com and select the k/e calculator and punch in your arrow weight and arrow speed and see how much energy you are shooting.Also go to www.rocketaeroheads.com and just look at some of the game that was taken with mechanicals including the world record bull elk.Some people bash mechanical heads I dont bash any type of broadheads what you shoot is your own preference.Out of my own experience with mechanicals I get larger exit wounds and better blood trails.Just let the facts speak for themselves.Good luck
