Default RE: Couple questions for "Trophy" hunters

I believe it comes down to two things. How many deer you have harvested in your lifetime and how much time are you willing to invest to improve. For those who spend just one day in the woods, don't scout and will take the first thing that comes down the trail it's hard for you to understand what a HUNTER is all about. On the other hand, when you have harvested a nice buck each year because you scout, spend hours upon hours in the wood each year, not just the first day of the season and are rewarded with another nice buck, you want to improve your hunting. To me this is being able to harvest not just a buck, but the biggest bruiser in the woods. I have nothing against doe hunting and harvesting smaller buck, but I figure it's just like life. You get out of it what you put into it.
