Too many deer camp rules
One of the things I hate about hunting clubs is when they have too many complicated rules for everything--having guests, managing the herd, developing quality bucks, etc. But I just heard about a camp here in Arkansas that has found a way to accomplish all their goals with one simple rule: Whatever you shoot, you have to mount. I thought that was a terrific idea. You can bring all the guests you want, but the rule applies to them, too. That keeps a lot of guests away in the first place, and the people that do show up are sure going to think twice before they shoot if they know its a $300 committment everytime they squeeze the trigger! Does anybody else have a similar rule? This was the first time I've ever heard of it.
