Well I have the ADL 30-06 but mine has the walnut stock. Just got it in October and let me tell you it's a dream. My experiences with it have been thumbs up all the way. I use Core-Lokt 150 grains in it for whitetails. Get yourself a decent scope (on that YOU are comfortable with) and you'll be set. Good luck
