Default RE: New Hampshire turkeys

MrLongbeard.....even though we don't always see eye to eye on topics that pop up on this forum, we both still share the love for the outdoors. If you're ever up this way again, email meand we'll hit the lake salmon fishing or the river forsome stripers. I've got theboat and all the tackle you wouldneed. I would extend the offer to turkey hunting as well but I'm usuallytravelling other states chasing them down myself. I was actually out there three time during bike week and even crusied over to the Weirs (on the water) to show my Father all the bikes. To cold this year to see any flasher

What area of the state did you see the turkeys in or did you travel through to get up to the Weirs? If you came across Rt.202 / 9, towards the end of those route you were in my neck of the woods. I hunt Hillsboro, Henniker and Hopkinton area and you do see the turkeys close to homes. Thing is you step out of your house or stop to look at them they end up leaving real fast The turkey around here with in the last three years are startingto geta lot of hunting presure. When I first moved up here 7 years ago there were not many hunterout there chasing them and now my hunting areas are getting hit hard. It so bad now that next Spring I need to remove my truck decals so that "wantabe"don't follow me to my hunting spotslike they did this year [:@]Vanity plate? GONE! NWTF sticker? GONE!Hoyt sticker? GONE! strutting turkey decal? GONE! The only thing I'm going to keep is my STEELERS sticker can't see me getting rid of tham even though I'min Patriots territory. Have a great summer
