That's correct. The breech plug is built to accept the 209 primer. Be sure and put a good anti sieze on the plug when you put it in the rifle and DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE PLUG when you put it in the rifle. Finger tight and then back it off just a 1/4 turn. If you shoot more then 15 shots in a row, take yourwrench and twist it back and fourth to make sure it is not seizing up. If you end your shooting session and it will be a hour or longer before you can clean the rifle, take the breech plug out or loosen it.
