Default RE: horse dies of west nile in my town, are deer next?

West Nile is now spread all over my state of Kentucky.
There has been people killed, couple horses, and many birds.
As bad as I hate to say it I believe Deer have a high posibility of contracting this terrible virus. I have heard that it tends to affect humans/horses of older age and those with a low immune system.
I hope someone knows for sure that it will not affect deer because that means the larger breeding bucks and does will be eventually all be killed off and eventually all deer for that matter.
If someone nows for sure as far as research, please post it.
Take precautions when going afield I can't even go in the backyard to shoot my bow without being ate up.
