Default RE: Thinking of moving to Montana

Dang, seems like montanians can't even get along with there selves much less an out of stater.
If you want to move out to montana you need to ask your self, " Self, do I want to be in the prairies or the mountains? The east side of the divide is totally different than that west of the divide. I live here in the kootenai national forest along the canadian border at the foot of the rocky mountains. The county I live in is #56, that is the last county as far as economic development goes. Maybe 5,000 people in the county and about 1600 in the nearest towne of eureka and the nearest traffic light is Kallispel, 75 miles , which is an hour and a half south on hwy. 93. I like being in the mountains more than the prairies as I see deer, bear and moose from my kabin and moved out here to get away from the concret jungle. People tend to keep to themselves here and keep there distance, I have been here since 99' and haven't meet even a dozen people, but every one you see is a famial(sp)? face. I moved out here to get away from people and don't want people comeing up here every day taking up my time. I got too many chores to do including bucking up 10 truck loads of firewood before winter. I hunt from sept to the end of nov and don't want anything to interfer. Kalifornians and flatheaders, the #7's are not welcome usually around these parts, we know how you did it there, and thats why we're here.
If you want to make a lot of money, don't come here, but if you want to become rich, you will find it.
I do a lot of my hunting in the Breaks in 620, 621 and 622, and will be over there in sept if any of you all want to share a campfire. PM me, later folks, Bobby
