6mm (.243) SUX as a varmit rifle. 22-250 and 220swift better for it. the only thing the 6mm aka 243 has is a slightly heavier bullet to help with cuting the wind. if you not in heavy windy areas, and making 100+ yard shots get 22-250 or 220swift. my 22-250 fire winchester 45gr at 4000fps, so the box says.
