Default RE: what is the STS system

As mentioned the STS is a small Limbsaver mounted to a 3/8" rod which is adjustable for length and offset. It does seem to work better on some bows than others. Ironically, most of the really positive posts seem to be from guys who have Mathews or Bowtech VFT bows, which are supposed to be very quiet and shock free to begin with. In my experience, the STS does not make my bow any quieter, it simply makes a shorter, sharper sound. It does seem to limit vibration well. When I first shot my bow with the STS, I had a Whisker Biscuit rest on it and it shot very well despite the fact that I hadn't really shot outside that much before that session. I'm not really sure the bow is shooting better with the current drop away rest. In the next month, I will see enough to be sure how I like the bow shooting broadheads. This is at least the second time I've read a post by Len that seem to indicate that the STS picture is not quite as rosy as most are making it out to be.
