Bigcountry, we do feed our deer, protien in the off season and corn during the season. It is not different than planting a food plot or hunting over a beanfield. It is just another way to attract the deer. That is just how its done in Texas. You have no right to bash the way others hunt. And if you doubt the quality of deer texas produces just click on one of the 3 links i posted earlier.

I do not want to start the state bashing again but coming from maryland (my grandmother lives there its full of crazy liberals) it is to hard to resist. My dad calls it the peoples socialist republic of maryland and for good reason. More anti gun laws than you can shake a stick at. I do hear however they are overpopulated with deer because people are always running into deer on the roads, according to my grandma.

ONe thing i will give you is maryland has some good offshore fishing, thats about it.
