I don't much care for the 243Win. except for varmints (news flash, right? , but this is nuts!
I'll leave ya' alone for using it on deer, if you'll leave me to my 358Win.

Got to admit, this thing has been fun though, if we don't take it too seriously

243Win. is a VARMINT cartridge, barely minimum for deer and antelope, and way too small for anything bigger (ie, elk, moose, and bear).
It was invented for folk who can't handle the gentle recoil of a genuine deer cartridge such as the 270Win., 308, or 30-06.
