That is just shy of 500 lbs difference. And their is only 2" of drop difference at 500 yards between the tow. Not to mention the fact the 243 has 462 pounds less at that distance.
How ironic it is, that when I post ballistics you say they dont mean squat but when you post them it's the law.
For one, pick a better bullet for the .243 like the Fed 100grBT. And dont post the results at the muzzle. post them at 200 yds or 300 yds
