You really do have blinders on when it comes to the 243 don't you.
I've used both on deer and there really is a performance difference between the two.

The .040 caliber difference between 6mm and 7mm is huge. You can physically see the difference. That's a greater difference than between 308 and 338 bullets. I don't hear many people saying a 300 Win Mag is superior to a 338 Win Mag because it shoots a lighter bullet a little flatter.

Oh well, shoot what you like and I'll shoot what I like. I'm finished with this thread.
