You've really converted people to hunting with a 243? Personally I don't know of 1 person who has tried and stuck with a 243 for very long.
I know alot of people who tried a 243 when they were looking for a lighter recoiling rifle but most of those guys have moved up to a 7mm-08 or a 308. I also know a few people that started out with a 243 but they have all moved up as well.

We all started out with the .308. Untill they case necked it to a .24, the 7-08 is also a case necked .308. it's just the .24 offers the perfect balance of everything for medium size game.
Its better poison. you have to see the internals of a deer shot with all three of these calibers to see the difference, the .24 leaves more destruction and faster kills.
