The Glock 20 & 21 are excellent weapons if they fit your hand comfortably. The recoil isn't really that bad, even in the 10mm. I have a G20 and had a G21, so I've used them both a lot. I'd agree with the above posters however that the G17/22/31 full-size series tend to fit more people better. The .40 S&W and 357SIG are nothing to sneeze at, either one will approach or exceed the 500 FPE mark.
