Which .224 bullet for yotes?
First time in 25 years locally we have yotes and some nervous farmers with free range chickens. Past experience I had a .222 Remington that I usually loaded with hornady SX, but it really blew up on impact. Never saw a coyote back then, either. Anyway, I wore that barrel out so I am going to a .223. Range in my terrain is usually under 200 yards.
I'm not real concerned about pelt damage even though we have a couple buyers. Basically, I want to drop those suckers. I haven't kept up with technology... what are the good coyote bullets out there?
Thanks
