MY Leaf River units are actually the DC-2 models with the LCD screens but I don't really see the need to buy them over the non-screen models. I have an older Nikon Coolpix cam that uses the CF Cards so I just pop out my Memory Cards and check 'em out in my Nikon when I want a viewer, it let's me pan and zoom. I always just switch out the CF Cards so a deleting feature like you mentioned isn't really that important when a Card goes home with me anyway.
