SVL recoil pads are the only way to go. I bought a .300 Win. Mag It was devastating to sight in, I purchased the SVL recoil pad and could shoot all day. They sell a slip on and a custom fit. I use the slip on so I can utilize it on my wife's 12g for her turkey hunting.
