I agree it is pathetic but have you ever been to Ronan where two 11 year old boys died from alcohol poisoning. The reservations all have those problems.
I enjoy going to Bozeman, Kalispell, Dillon etc. Hate Missoula with a passion and yet have to travel there twice a month for business. I would still rather live here. I have lived in Germany and traveled throughout Europe for 6 years and in the Middle East for a year. I lived in Bozeman for 5 years. I chose to move to Glasgow to raise my kids and be closer to my and my wife's family.
My cost of living is 1/3 of what my colleagues in Bozeman and Missoula and I make the same money. I understand what you are saying it is pretty but there are WAY to many people over there who ruin it for me.
