Well, about 15 mins ago, i was sitting here typing away when i glanced ou the window and saw a deer about 400 yards across a valley in our CRP. i ran down to the basement, grabbed a spotting scope, and set up out on the deck. once i got 45X zoomed in and focused, i easily saw it was a doe. i noticed it was thinner so it should have dropped fawns. after about 5-7 mins, it started walking. out behind pranced a tiny little spotted fawn. If that wasn't cool enough, the thing started nursing right there. They walked around the CRP grass and the doe groomed the fawn and let it run between its legs. Just a cool sight, never seen them nurse or groom a fawn in the wild. just awesome...
