when i am planing on walkin the trees, i soak strips of cotton (towel) in doe urine. then put them in ziplock bags with just the string i will be touching hanging out. i tie them around my boots and hit the woods. I have had bucks walk rite up on me, scare the crap outta me. Not the safest way thing in the world, but it has worked.
