I work with amphibians for a federal agency and in this state we have to have a collection permit to take any amphibians except for bullfrogs. We can't even take gamefish without a collection permit. This is why I questioned it. I'm suprised CA will allow the take of all those species (except for those that are non-native then I can see why). The pet shop suppliers must have a field day down there.
