Default RE: Buying a New 270 WSM

I prefer the Browning over the others. I've never like Savages although they are accurate....just don't feel good to me. My Winchester is a shooter, but it's heavy and somewaht bulky. My Brownings all shoot extremely well with handloads and factory and all seem to be easy and comfortable to carry. My Win. has almost gotten thrown off a cliff because of it's heft. I also compare many makes and models when looking for a new rig, but I always go back to the Browning. I like the 60* bolt throw, the light weight, the tang safety, the easily adjusted trigger....and it isn't a terrible trigger otherwise either. These are 4 top qualities that I prefer in a rifle. The others hit in some areas and not in others....Browning carries all the traits I like so that's what I buy.

One correction you need to make is the barrel length on the Micro Hunter....all the short mags in this rifle carry a 22" tube. 23" on the standard A-bolt.

BTW, I don't have any affiliation whatsoever with Browning, I just really like their rifles and shotguns. They've never let me down and to me they're worth the exra couple of bucks you pay for them.
