I have never really had a problem with the batteries going in the $60 Stealth cam. They last at least 3 weeks in my experience...assuming warmer weather ofcourse.

As someone else mentioned, I wouldn't go the rechargeable route. They usually don't last as long as standard alkalkine batteries.
