RE: Anyone bowhunt without camo?
<BLOCKQUOTE id=quote<font size=1 face='Verdana, Arial, Helvetica' id=quote>quote:<hr height=1 noshade id=quote>Well I will be using camo for the first time in over 35 years of deer hunting this year. Why? Well I went turkey hunting for the first time last spring and the guy I went with told me I was wasting my time and his if I didn't. <hr height=1 noshade id=quote></BLOCKQUOTE id=quote></font id=quote><font face='Verdana, Arial, Helvetica' size=2 id=quote>
Personally, I think that guy was full of crap. We all know that turkey have amazing eyes but, like deer, they are much more sensative to movement. I read an article awhile back about this guy who hunts turkeys 100% traditionally. He uses an old flint-lock muzzleloader shotgun and actually wears traditional pilgrim-like clothing...NOT CAMO! Can't deny the success he had seeing the photo's. I'm not suggesting that everyone ditch their camo, just reinforcing the opinion that camo is not nearly as necessary as they want you to believe.
