Default "You kill Bambi?" - what are your responses?

I saw this topic pop up once again on another thread on this board and thought it would be nice to have all of your responses on one main thread.

Here is my work in process...

Do you kill Bambi?

Bambi is a cartoon, but if you are asking, “Do I kill deer?” The answer is yes.
I hunt deer and if I am fortunate enough, the end result is; I killed a deer.

Nothing I say about what I get personally, spiritually, emotionally, or the nourishment I receive from the bounty that the hunting experience provides me or what my fellow sportsmen and women get from it will ever change your mind, but please consider this…

I was taught at an early age not to discriminate against ANYTHING based on looks/appearance, race, color, creed and religion among other things.
I was taught to value all animal life equally, I do not discriminate.

I do not give more value to cute little furry animals than I do to scary looking spiders, mosquitoes or ants.
I was taught to value all animal life equally, I do not discriminate

I do not give more value to a man with white skin than one with black skin.
I was taught to value human (animal) life equally, I do not discriminate.
And I do not kill humans.

I do not kill animals out of fear, hate, or ignorance as many individuals do.
I do not discriminate.

I do not justify my killing by saying, it could have bit me, or stung me.
I do not discriminate.

Everyone kills God’s creatures.

If you drove your car today, there is a good possibility you killed an ant or bug.
If you walked on a sidewalk today, there is a good chance you killed an ant or a bug.

If you ate a vegetarian meal today, there is a good chance that insects were killed in the growing cycle (pesticides) of those vegetables or in the process of getting those vegetables to the store and then to your dinner table.

Who are you to say that these lives are worth less than a deer, rabbit, turkey or pheasant?
GOD?
A life is a life, please realize this once and for all.

Because if you don’t, soon us sportsmen and women will be asking, "You kill Flik?" (A Bug’s Life).

See how stupid this would be?
