actually dave i own one and i do not have any jamming problems. It can shoot 2 3/4 to 3 1/2 inch shells but with the 2 3/4 inchers there is this little ring thing that you put in the gun (sounds complicated but its not at all) I guess 48th's buddy didnt put his in
