With a similar weight XTP bullet (230 grains), my Omega liked 95 grains using 777 FFF & 45-cal Harvester plastic sabot. Tried it out to 150 yards..... 3" or-so high@100 ... about dead nuts at 150. Your Buffalo 225 is very similar to the Precision Keith Nose bullet.... big-time mushroomer. I see that bullet sells for around $16 for 36-pk at most Ganders & Cabelas.... even on the net over at http://www.thunder-ridge-muzzleloading.com. That's an excellent buy.
